Manatee 3 Gun: PCC NOT allowed for use at matches

Manatee 3 Gun doesn't fall under USPSA or 3GN rules. We a blended approach to the rules for our monthly 3 gun (Rifle, Shotgun and Pistol) matches on the 2nd Saturday of every month and the 5th Saturday whenever a month has 5 Saturdays. We are located on the West coast of Florida at Manatee Gun and Archery Club, 1805 Logue Road, Myakka City, FL. Sign in starts at 8:00, safety briefing starts at 9:00, with shooting to follow. Cost is $25 for club members and $35 for non-members (pay at 3 gun sign in, NOT main club house).

PCC NOT allowed for use at matches

The temporary allowance for the PCC to be used at the normal monthly match over the past couple of months is NO longer allowed. With the range not allowing us to use the side berms for anything but bird shot targets it makes stage design difficult to create a challenging yet safe stage if PCC is allowed.

22LR can still be used as a substitute for the AR on any of the stages.

About Us - We used a blended approach of the major organizations rules. As we collect club fees we try to add new and different equipment to help make the matches fun. Matches are designed, setup and ran by NRA Range Safety Officers.

Equipment - We use at least 4 or 5 different ranges during the match so a shooting cart or wagon is helpful to transport all your weapons and equipment. Chamber flags are required for all rifles and shotguns. Reloads are allowed as long as they are safe. For the safety of the participants and longevity of targets, armor piercing, green tipped, steel core and steel shot are NOT allowed. Holsters must cover the trigger guard and securely hold the pistol. No cross draw or shoulder holsters.

Round count estimate - 120 rifle, 120 pistol, 75 shotgun (#6, 7.5 or 8 shot) and 5 slugs.
